Special Issue on Heart Failure

Heart Failure is a clinical condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood effectively to meet the body’s metabolic needs. It encompasses a range of structural and functional cardiac impairments, leading to symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath and fluid retention. The field studies underlying causes, pathophysiology, diagnostic methods and treatment strategies, including pharmacological therapy, device implantation and lifestyle interventions, aiming to improve patient outcomes, quality of life and long-term survival.
