Special Issue on Surgical Oncology
Surgical Oncology is a medical specialty and research field focused on the
surgical management of cancer. It studies tumor biology, diagnostic evaluation,
operative techniques and perioperative care to achieve optimal tumor removal
and patient outcomes. The field also integrates multidisciplinary treatment
approaches, minimally invasive and robotic surgery and advances in precision
medicine to improve survival, quality of life, and long-term cancer control.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
