Special Issue on Infectious Diseases and Public Health
Infectious
Diseases and Public Health examines the causes, transmission, prevention and
control of infectious agents that affect populations. It integrates epidemiology,
microbiology, immunology and health policy to monitor disease outbreaks, assess
risk factors, and design effective interventions. The field emphasizes
vaccination, surveillance systems, antimicrobial stewardship and
community-based strategies to reduce morbidity and mortality while promoting
global health security and equitable access to care.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Infectious Diseases and Public Health. Potential topics include, but are not limited
