Special Issue on General and Diagnostic Pathology
General and Diagnostic Pathology focuses on
advancing the understanding of disease mechanisms alongside innovations in
diagnostic practices that support accurate and timely clinical decision-making.
It encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, including histopathological
evaluation, cytological analysis, molecular and genetic diagnostics, and the
integration of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and whole
slide imaging. Emphasis is placed on correlating morphological findings with
molecular data to improve disease classification, prognostic assessment, and
personalized treatment strategies. By bridging traditional microscopy with
emerging computational and multi-omics approaches, this special issue aims to
highlight cutting-edge research and practical methodologies that enhance
diagnostic precision and contribute to improved patient outcomes across diverse
medical conditions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring General and Diagnostic Pathology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Histopathology
-
Cytopathology
-
Surgical pathology
-
