Special Issue on Complications of Pregnancy
Complications of Pregnancy studies medical conditions that adversely affect
maternal or fetal health during pregnancy, childbirth or the postpartum period.
It includes disorders such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm
birth, infections, and placental abnormalities. The field focuses on causes,
risk factors, prevention, diagnosis and management strategies to reduce
morbidity and mortality and improve outcomes for mothers and infants.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Complications of Pregnancy. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
