Special Issue on Cognitive Psychology
Cognitive psychology
studies the mental processes involved in acquiring, processing, storing, and
using information. It examines functions such as perception, attention, memory,
language, problem-solving, reasoning, and decision-making. The field seeks to
understand how people think and learn, often using experimental methods and
computational models. Findings from cognitive psychology contribute to areas
such as education, human–computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and
clinical psychology.
