Informatics & Data Analytics is an interdisciplinary academic field that
studies the collection, management, analysis and application of health data to
improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. It integrates information technology,
data science, and medical knowledge to support clinical decision-making,
disease surveillance, personalized medicine and health system optimization,
while addressing issues of data quality, privacy, security and ethical use of
health information.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Health Informatics & Data Analytics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
