Special Issue on Gastrointestinal Disorders
Gastrointestinal Disorders encompass a broad spectrum of
conditions affecting the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach,
intestines, liver, pancreas, and associated structures. These disorders range
from common functional conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome to
inflammatory, infectious, and malignant diseases, including inflammatory bowel
disease and gastrointestinal cancers. Advances in endoscopy, imaging, molecular
diagnostics, and microbiome research have significantly improved the
understanding of disease mechanisms, early detection, and targeted treatment
strategies. Ongoing research continues to enhance clinical management through
personalized therapies, minimally invasive interventions, and integrated care
approaches aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Gastrointestinal
Disorders. Potential topics include, but are not limited
