Special Issue on Biotechnology and Genetic
Innovation
Biotechnology and Genetic Innovation encompass
the development and application of advanced biological techniques to modify,
analyze, and harness genetic material for scientific, medical, agricultural,
and industrial purposes. This rapidly evolving field integrates molecular
biology, synthetic biology, genomics, and computational tools to enable precise
genome editing, novel therapeutic strategies, and sustainable bioprocesses.
Breakthroughs such as gene editing technologies, personalized medicine, and
engineered biological systems are transforming disease diagnosis and treatment,
improving crop resilience, and driving bio-based production. As innovation
accelerates, this domain also addresses critical challenges related to ethics,
biosafety, and regulatory frameworks, shaping the future of life sciences and
global health.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Biotechnology
and Genetic Innovation. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Genetic engineering
-
Synthetic biology
-
