Environmental Assessment and Monitoring involves the systematic evaluation and continuous observation of environmental conditions to understand the impacts of human activities on natural ecosystems and to support sustainable development. This field applies scientific methods, analytical tools, and monitoring technologies to assess environmental quality, including air, water, soil, and biodiversity. It also investigates environmental risks, pollution sources, and ecological changes through environmental impact assessments, long-term monitoring programs, and data-driven analysis. By integrating environmental science, policy, and management practices, this area provides essential knowledge for environmental protection, informed decision-making, and the development of effective strategies for ecological sustainability and resource conservation.
