Special Issue on Plant Food and Clinical Nutrition
Plant
Food and Clinical Nutrition focuses on the role of plant-based foods and
bioactive compounds in promoting human health and managing clinical conditions.
It emphasizes the integration of nutritional science, clinical research, and
evidence-based dietary interventions to prevent and treat chronic diseases,
improve metabolic and cardiovascular health, and support overall wellness.
Contributions may explore mechanisms of action of phytochemicals, functional
ingredients, nutrient bioavailability, personalized nutrition strategies, and
clinical trials assessing plant-based diets or supplements. By bridging
fundamental research and applied clinical practice, this issue aims to advance
