Special Issue on
World Literature and Comparative Studies
Comparative
and World Literature explores literary works across cultures, languages, and
historical periods to examine universal themes, aesthetic forms, and cultural
exchanges. It emphasizes the comparative analysis of texts, genres, and
literary traditions to understand how literature reflects and shapes social,
political, and cultural realities. Integrating approaches from literary theory,
cultural studies, translation studies, and postcolonial studies, this theme
investigates transnational influences, global narratives, and the dynamics of
literary reception. Research in this area fosters cross-cultural understanding,
highlights the diversity of human experience, and provides insights into the
evolving role of literature in a globalized world.
