Special Issue on
Species Diversity and Habitat Conservation
Species
Diversity and Habitat Conservation focuses on the study and protection of
biological diversity across ecosystems, emphasizing the preservation of species
richness, genetic variation, and ecosystem integrity. The field examines the
ecological processes that sustain biodiversity, the impacts of human activities
such as land-use change, climate change, pollution, and overexploitation, and
the strategies used to mitigate biodiversity loss. It integrates ecological
science, conservation biology, environmental management, and policy to develop
effective conservation planning, habitat restoration, and species management
approaches. By safeguarding habitats and maintaining species diversity, this
field supports ecosystem resilience, sustainable development, and the long-term
health of the natural environment.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Species Diversity and Habitat Conservation. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Biodiversity assessment and monitoring
-
Climate change impacts on biodiversity
-
Community-based conservation
-

-
Conservation genetics
-
