Special Issue on Mind and Consciousness in Philosophy

Mind and Consciousness in Philosophy is a central area of philosophical inquiry that investigates the nature, structure, and functions of mental phenomena and conscious experience. It addresses foundational questions concerning the relationship between mind and body, the nature of subjective experience, intentionality, perception, and self-awareness, as well as the status of mental causation and personal identity. Drawing on analytic philosophy, phenomenology, cognitive science, and neuroscience, this field critically examines theories such as dualism, physicalism, functionalism, and panpsychism. It also explores the implications of consciousness for free will, moral responsibility, artificial intelligence, and the limits of scientific explanation.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Mind and Consciousness in Philosophy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
