Special Issue on Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law


Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law is a core field of legal and political studies concerned with the principles, institutions, and practices that limit governmental power and ensure accountability through a supreme legal framework. It examines the design, interpretation, and enforcement of constitutions, the separation of powers, judicial independence, and the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms. Central to this field is the rule of law, which requires that laws be publicly promulgated, equally applied, and independently adjudicated, thereby safeguarding legal certainty and preventing arbitrary governance. Comparative and international perspectives further explore how constitutional norms evolve across different legal systems and respond to social, political, and technological change.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
