Special Issue on Legal Theory and Jurisprudence
Legal Theory and Jurisprudence explores the
fundamental principles, concepts, and philosophies underlying law and its
application in society. This field examines the nature, purpose, and
interpretation of legal rules, addressing questions of justice, rights, duties,
and the relationship between law and morality. It integrates perspectives from
philosophy, sociology, political science, and ethics to analyze legal
reasoning, legislative processes, judicial decision-making, and the evolution
of legal systems. By understanding the theoretical foundations of law, legal
theory and jurisprudence provide a framework for shaping fair, coherent, and
effective legal institutions and policies in diverse social contexts.
