Dr. Blanton is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His academic specialty is in sport psychology, with a focus on youth sports and coaching. Dr. Blanton grew up in the great high-altitude running community of Flagstaff, Arizona. Dr. Blanton attended Fort Lewis College, and was twice named captain of the Skyhawks men’s cross-country team.
